Frequently asked questions:

# 1:

When is the best time during my pregnancy to start my to antenatal classes?

The best time to start the course is when you are around 28 - 32 weeks pregnant, with the aim to finish a few weeks before your due date.  But, of course you can also start classes earlier if it means you can find the class dates that are right for you.

# 2:

Is there an option to book Jen privately for antenatal classes?

Yes!  I am happy to discuss this and tailor a bespoke private session just for you.  Please get in touch with me.

# 3:

Do you do weekend classes?

Please get in touch with me if evenings are not possible for you and I am happy to explore opening up 2 Saturday sessions 12pm-5pm, but I would need advance notice of this so that I can try and facilitate this option.

# 4:

I notice you hold these classes in a church. Is there a religious element?

No, there is not a religious element to antenatal classes.

These classes are framed to be relaxed, non-judgemental, and accepting of all ethnicities, beliefs and diversities.

# 5:

Im planning on having a C-section birth.  Should I still come to antenatal classes?

Yes!  All birth options are discussed in these classes.  Also,  it is important to keep in mind that there is so much more than just birthing the baby. The birth is only one component of welcoming your new bubba into this world.  Antenatal classes with Jen also ensure that you walk away with an understanding and hands on skills that enable you to care for your new bubba at home (this stage is a lot longer than the birth!)

# 6:

The course that I would like to do is fully booked

Please still get in touch with me.  If the course you are looking at is at the maximum numbers I could offer you some bespoke sessions, or if there are enough enquires I could look at adding in an extra evening or weekend course (minimum of 5 couples)
